E Pluribus Funk is Grand Funk Railroad's fifth studio album, and was released in November 1971 by Capitol Records. This is the final Grand Funk Railroad album produced by Terry Knight. The title is a play on the former motto of the US government, E Pluribus Unum.

It was produced by Grand Funk and marks the band's first album not produced by Terry Knight. The album features Craig Frost on organ, clavinet, harpsichord, and piano; and Doug Kershaw on Electric Fiddle.

We're An American Band is Grand Funk Railroad's seventh studio album, and was released in July 1973 by Capitol Records. It was produced by Todd Rundgren. This is the first album to feature Craig Frost as a full-fledged band member. The original issue was on a translucent yellow disk. The label, above the side numbers, instructed listeners to play "at full volume." It included four stickers (two blue, and two red) with the Grand Funk "Pointing Finger" logo. Emphasizing the shortening of the group's name, largely for legal reasons, the word "Railroad" does not appear anywhere on the album cover, liner, or vinyl record.

Shinin' On is a 1974 album by Grand Funk Railroad. Although not as successful as its predecessor, We're an American Band, it did go gold in the U.S and peaked at 5. The title song was featured the season 7 episode of The Simpsons, "Homerpalooza".

All The Girls In The World Beware!!! cover
All The Girls In The World Beware!!! is a 1974 album by Grand Funk Railroad. The album featured the #3 hit "Some Kind of Wonderful" and the #4 hit "Bad Time".
Then top body builders and long-time friends Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbu are featured on the cover; the band members' faces are overlaid onto their muscled bodies.
"Bad Time" was used as an a-capella intro to "Sweet Child O'Mine" by Axl Rose on most shows of Guns N'Roses 1992 Use Your Illusion World Tour.
